Any solid padlock works on the lock rods. A weather-rated laminated or shrouded-shackle lock is ideal, since it resists both bolt cutters and freezing rain. You’ll hold the only key.
No propane tanks, fuel, hazardous materials, or anything living. If it burns, leaks or breathes, it stays home. Everything else household or business is fair game.
